**Position Summary**:
As an Unregulated Care Provider/Care Attendant at Levante Living, you will be a vital member of our care team, responsible for assisting residents with their daily living activities. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents, helping them maintain a high quality of life in a supportive and caring environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Resident Care**: Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, in a manner that ensures dignity and respect.
- **Medication Assistance**: Assist with medication administration as per the care plan and within the scope of your role.
- **Daily Living Support**: Help residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning, and provide support during meals.
- **Observation & Reporting**: Monitor residents’ health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- **Companionship**: Engage with residents in meaningful activities and conversations, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- **Housekeeping Assistance**: Support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping duties and laundry assistance.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including any observations or changes in resident condition.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role within a long-term care or retirement setting is preferred.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or similar is an asset.
- **Skills**:

- Compassionate and caring demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans accurately.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
