**The Quality Control Lab Technician**

As a member of our Scientific Affairs team _, _the _Quality Control Lab Technician _is responsible for quality control inspections on filling lines and batching operations, finished product releases, and the testing and analysis of packaging materials, in-process, and finished products.

**A day in the life of a Quality Control Lab Technician might include**
- Performing testing of packaging materials.
- Testing in-process and finished products.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for laboratory testing activities.
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Overseeing the day-to-day production and testing (related to product release) activities to ensure compliance with all quality system requirements.
- Checking Quality Control hourly on filling lines.
- Frequent inspection of batching operations.
- Recording and tracking of quality defects and preparation of quality metrics.
- Closing and filling the batch records.
- Releasing of finished products.
- Reviewing of batch records and releasing of contract manufactured products.

- Minimum College degree in Chemical Science (or related fields).
- 1 year of Experience working in a chemical laboratory (preferably in industry).
- General knowledge of analytical chemistry.
- Basic knowledge of following analytical techniques: UV/VIS, FTIR.
- Ability to communicate effectively and possesses exceptional reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptionally detail oriented.
- Academic or practical knowledge of ISO 9001 or GMP.
- Test method development using standards such as USP, Merck, etc.
