Labourer

**Summary of Job**:
Labourers are responsible for various tasks related to the production of pallets and wood packaging materials, using equipment they have been trained to use. Labourers take direction from their Supervisor as well as Machine Operators.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read a tape measure

**Skill, Ability, and Experience**:

- Numeracy skills needed
- Reading and writing skills needed
- Must be energetic and physically fit
- Must be capable of repetitive medium to heavy lifting
- Past pneumatic nailing experience is preferred
- Past manufacturing experience preferred
- References are preferred

Starting wage will be negotiated based on skill, ability, and past experience.

Hours of work are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and half-day Friday, if needed (plant workload determines if Friday is a workday or not).

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
