**EVENT SERVER**

We are looking for seasonal event servers at the Sandman Hotel & Suites for our events department. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Involvement in several types of service including breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, plated dinners and buffet dinners
- Executing daily work activities according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Anticipating guests’ needs; acknowledging and responding promptly to guest requests
- Working as part of a team and communicating with your colleagues to ensure a smooth event
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Setting up and tearing down of meetings, functions, receptions, including moving tables and chairs
- Clearing tables as needed throughout the event
- Working with groups from 2 to 150 guests
- Serving all guests with a high level of service and in a timely fashion
- Cleaning up after events including removal of décor, taking down the buffet, vacuuming, removing dirty dishware, sanitizing tables
- Other duties as assigned

**RENUMERATION**:

- Hourly wage
- Shares in event gratuities
