**About the Role**

OS&D Supervisor
Full-time
Lachine, QC

The OS&D Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the OS&D process and execution at the terminal. The focus of this role is to reduce OS&D claims to “Zero”.

**How You’ll Help**
- Oversee the OS&D team for all related matters for commerce and freight (4 in office and 1 working dock -)
- Resolution of OS&D (Over, Short or Damaged Freight) within applicable terminal operation.
- Follow up daily on tickets until they have been closed.
- Perform customer service function, settle problems and inquiries.
- Provide information on whereabouts of goods, manifesting for linehaul.
- Enforce best practices and protocols as established by Day & Ross
- Next level escalation in department
- Establish guidelines for productivity
- Periodic performance review

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.
- Previous transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial
- Previous leadership experience an asset
- Good working knowledge of Excel and other MS office programs.
- Specific experience working with damaged freight is an asset.
- Previous experience with the AS/400 & TruckMate would be considered an asset
- Previous Transportation, leadership or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial
- Communication skills - advanced
- Computer skills - accuracy, MS products, AS400, Truck Mate, web based programs
- Demonstrated customer relationship skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
- Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
- Results focused
- Able to work with little supervision
- English & French required
