Join our dynamic team and be a key part of our growth **Position Title**: Field Technician **Job Overview**: We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of insulated panels, ACM siding, flashing and trim work, cooler and freezer doors, man doors, and door equipment. The Field Technician will also handle job preparation, stock parts, ensure site cleanliness, and complete work orders and time sheets. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Coordinator or Job Lead as needed. **Key Responsibilities**: - Install IMPs, ACM siding, vapor barriers, flashing and bars, caulking and sealant. - Complete work orders, timesheets, and other required documentation accurately and on time. - Maintain a clean, operational work truck and ensure it is stocked with necessary parts. - Report low stock levels and manage parts reordering. - Safely dispose of materials removed from job sites and maintain a clean, safe work environment. - Continuously improve product knowledge to provide excellent customer service. **Qualifications**: - Experience operating aerial work platforms and forklifts. - Knowledge of various insulated panel systems, ACM siding and doors. - Experience with metal trim installation and the use of spray foam, silicone, and butyl. - Comfort using both manual and powered hand tools. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Strong mechanical aptitude. - Customer-focused with strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. - Familiarity with health and safety standards in construction and industrial environments, including working at heights and WHMIS certification. **Job Type**: Full-time **Salary**: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour, based on experience **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care - Tool allowance - Boot allowance **Schedule**: - 8 to 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday - On-call hours and possible weekend and after hours **Supplemental Pay Types**: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay **Education**: - Secondary school diploma (preferred) **Language**: - English (required) **Licenses/Certifications**: - Ontario Driver’s License (required) **Required Tools**: - Tool case/bag and tool pouch - 20 oz framing hammer - Tape measure (25' minimum) - Utility knife (heavy-duty) - Wonder bar (12" minimum) - Caulking gun - Tin snips - Hand screwdriver set - Wrench set (3/8” - ¾”) - Ratchet socket wrench set (up to ¾”) - Pliers with side cutters - Large channel locks - Adjustable wrench (up to 1 ½”) - Cordless impact drill (minimum 18V) - Cordless hammer/regular drill (minimum 18V) - Sledgehammer - Crowbar - Clamps, vise grips, and level - Framing square and combination mitre square - Electrical tester and multimeter - Allen key sets (metric and imperial) - Star key Allen wrench set (metric and imperial) - Easy-out bits and tap set (metric and imperial) - Drill bits and drive sockets for impact drill - Hole saw kit - Flashlight and specialty tools (e.g., metal files, nut splitters) - Cordless grinder and reciprocating saw - Spare batteries
