Overnight Awake Youth Care Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate **FEMALE** youth care provider to join our team. As our overnight awake person, you would be in charge of documentation, attending to youth who are struggling throughout the night general housekeeping and transportation if youth need a safe ride home. The youth you will be tending to are considered to have complex needs and may struggle to follow expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- ensuring the youth remain safe through out the night
- Create a safe and supportive environment for youth
- Transporting youth home if they are unsafe
- Documenting and consistently checking on the youth throughout the night
- General housekeeping
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and inclusive environment for the youth in the home
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, behavior, and any incidents that may occur

**Requirements**:

- Preferred experience working with youth in care that have a higher level of needs
- Strong passion for working with youth and helping them reach their full potential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicating and engage with youth of different ages and backgrounds
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
**This position does require a valid driver's license and vehicle**

Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions. The position is also a contracted position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
