If so, we have the perfect role for you We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Associate Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team.

As an Associate, you will work alongside BMS Canada’s award-winning Affinity brokers to deliver specialized liability insurance and risk management solutions to professionals across Canada. This role is a great way to learn about different kinds of liability insurance, negotiation and technical details, and will position you for professional growth within one of the fastest growing brokerages in Canada.

**Each day in this role could include**:

- Assisting our experienced insurance brokers in providing personalized solutions for individuals and businesses
- Preparing insurance renewals, policy changes, certificates and other documents
- Contributing to the growth and success of our business
- Collaborating with the brokering team on various projects and annual program renewals

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- A positive attitude and a willingness to share knowledge and insight with the team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong phone skills including listening and documenting information
- Passion for the insurance industry and a genuine desire to help clients protect themselves and their practice
- Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence decisions and gain agreement and support
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Knowledge of Microsoft office, Teams, Excel
- Computer efficiency and ability to learn to use new software systems
- Previous experience in customer service, with a brokerage, or in the insurance industry is an asset
- Previous experience working in an office or in a team environment
- RIBO license or willingness to obtain the necessary insurance broker license(s)
- Bilingualism is a plus (English & French)

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
