**Overview**:
TFI International Inc. is a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, operating across Canada and the United States through its subsidiaries. The TST-CF Express LTL I.T. department supports multiple TFI Intl. operating divisions out of its Mississauga and Calgary locations and has an immediate opening for a Manager, Application Development in its Mississauga office.

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the successful applicant will lead our team of RPG and EDI developers in the development, maintenance, and support of our TMS running on an IBMi. This is a hands-on working manager position that will involve some development and end-user support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and lead a team of IBMi RPG, EDI developers and Business Analysts
- Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL scripts used for BI and SSRS reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- Continuously research and learn new technologies to improve software development practices

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience with IBMi RPGLE, RPG Free, CL, SQL, and other relevant technologies
- Experience managing and leading a development team
- Demonstration of business analysis skills and strong interactions with a user community at a management level
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs
- Experience within the transportation industry would be an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
