**Job Summary**:
As a **Laboratory Assistant** for our** Immunology** team located at the **Laval** site, you will provide general technical support within laboratories on company premises, as required. Carry out duties according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) at all times.

In this role**, responsibilities** may include:

- Wash, dry and store all the glassware used by the technicians/analysts;
- Perform maintenance/cleaning of basic laboratory equipment;
- Order all the disposable material and chemicals through the internal store and/or external supplier using the purchasing software;
- Receive/store chemicals, biological matrices, disposable material and keep inventories up to date;
- Keep the working area and storage room clean and organized;

**Key Elements**:
We are looking for the following minimum **qualifications **for this role:

- Minimum High School Diploma is required;
- Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable;
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Detail oriented and meticulous;
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change;
- Ability to work in a team environment

**Role Specific Information**

Location**:Laval**/ Shuttle service between Montmorency metro station and the Laval site, Free parking

**Salary**: starting at 16.25 $/h
Schedule: Weekday schedule, Monday to Friday
Permanent position as of the hiring, full time 37.5hrs per week
