The primary responsibility for this position is to support the development, rollout, and commercialization of the Hybrid Optimizer (HO) tool that is currently being developed for Jacobs’ Intelligent O&M team under the Beyond If and Divergent Solutions programs. This primary role involves providing technical leadership for the development team and providing technical support for client users of the HO tool. The secondary responsibilities are to support and lead advanced wastewater control projects for our clients around the world (including OMFS projects), and participate as a core member of Jacobs’ Wastewater Simulation Leadership Team (led by Tom Johnson). Activities within the Wastewater Simulation Leadership Team includes development and support for Jacobs’ suite of simulation tools including Replica and SUMO.
