**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Help with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support chefs and cooks during meal service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as needed.
- Ensure all kitchen supplies are stocked and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Follow proper sanitation practices to maintain a clean working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food preparation and service.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling guidelines.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests.
