Job Description

The principal role of the** Measurement Specialist **is to provide assistance to the senior measurement coordinator. It is expected that the intermediate measurement specialist will aid in the development of Intricate’s measurement specialists

**Key Responsibilities**

An intermediate measurement specialist will be able to proficiently conduct the following:

- Maintain accountability for projects in which they are working on
- Provide support to managers and senior measurement specialists
- Work independently on completing projects
- To efficiently be able to reference requirements in regulatory documents
- Create, maintain, and coordinate the development and maintenance of metering schematics reviews
- Assist with scheduling, conduction, and reporting on measurement audits and/or review
- To assist managers and measurement coordinators on EPAP projects, including, but not limited to:

- Setting up clients controls and process documentation
- Conducting controls and process assessments
- Reporting on clients a assessments
- Working with clients on any necessary changes to controls and processes based on the assessments
- Preparing declaration reports and documentation
- Assist managers and measurement coordinators in the development of client letters for site specific deviations to regulators
- Provide educated witnessing to meter calibrations, proves and water draws
- Have a reasonable understanding of EFM systems and the ability to communicate concerns to E&I personnel on what is required for regulatory compliance
- Have a reasonable understanding of FDC systems and the ability to communicate concerns to FDC coordinators
- Be efficient at navigating and utilizing regulators facility tracking systems (Petroleum Registry of Alberta and BC Ministry)
- Provide measurement training to Intricate’s staff or clients as needed
- Start obtaining a good understanding of accounting models, accounting recipes and a basic understanding of gas plant allocations - should be able to identify what compliant battery delinations look like

- Participate in all required meetings

Qualifications
**Qualifications / Experience**
- 5+ years of operations or maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and training skills
- Proficient with Microsoft software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Willing to work alone or as a team to complete projects
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to prioritize and follow direction

**Physical Requirements**
- Standard office environment
- Sitting for long periods of time and using computer
- Regularly work on repetitive tasks
- Walking around oil and gas facilities

Additional Information

This job is Lloydminister based but must be flexible to travel throughout western Canada.
