**Job Duties**:

- Spending approximately 70% of your shift on production and 30% on sanitation activities
- Working on our production line to fulfill daily orders not completed on day shift
- Take apart various areas of the production line for cleaning for sanitization, washdown and clean all parts of the production line using air, high pressure water, foamers and various chemicals
- Clean floors, remove debris and garbage throughout the plant
- Ensure proper protective equipment (PPE) is always worn while working
- Follows all applicable Sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP’s)
- Follow all applicable occupational health and safety and food safety procedures
- Attend all applicable training sessions (i.e. WHMIS, HACCP)
- Follow the set guidelines and SOP for personal hygiene and conduct
- Other duties as assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor/Lead Hand

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma an asset
- Previous experience in production like facility, preferably in a food industry

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good hand eye co-ordination
- Knowledge of food industry is desirable

**Working Conditions**:
Work is performed in a fast paced cold and wet environment. Mental stress is relative to meeting tight deadlines, product accuracy and keeping up with the cleaning of the production line. Heavy lifting, prolonged standing and climbing is involved.
