**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their project management skills while contributing to impactful projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinating site visits, attending site meetings, and overseeing site activities to ensure quality control, oversee procurement of all required construction permits, obtain certificates of occupancy
- Assisting with project progress and site reports, as well as assisting with shop drawings, answering contractor requests for information, and issuing contract changes.
- Ensure project costs are aligned with approved budgets
- Expedite approval of trade contractor invoices and change order requests
- Manage and maintain a thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities - will include job specific material takeoffs, purchasing, and, site visits, site meetings, and, site measuring as required.
- Prepare and negotiate contract agreements, scopes of work, and change orders. Coordination of succefful tenders from the shop drawing stage through to final installation on site.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships - internal and external relations
- Prepare and submit monthly Construction Status Reports
- Follow established guidelines and procedures to increase communication and overall efficiencies
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure standards and requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Construction
**Qualifications**
- Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or equivalent training
- Strong technical knowledge, including building envelope expertise and familiarity with Ontario construction practices.
- Highly organized and ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Enthusiastic and team oriented with the ability to work independently as well
**Must have clean drivers abstract, and, the ability to obtain clean criminal record checks for security clearances required on various projects**
Pay: $41,658.06-$81,710.51 per year
