**The Role**:
We are looking for an **Accounts Receivable Specialist** to join our dynamic Finance team in Vancouver (Delta), BC. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable, improving cash flow, and contributing to Survitec’s growth. **Your Responsibilities**:
- Process all sales invoices and credit notes accurately, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles.
- Reconcile at least 3 POS machines daily and process payments using POS systems.
- Take on the role of Credit Control Officer to mitigate default risk, assess credit limits, and manage order releases.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing all AR queries in a timely and courteous manner.
- Achieve KPIs in AR collection and maintain a proper log of customer communication for overdue accounts.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts.
- Maintain an updated customer deposit ledger and reconcile AR reports monthly.
- Provide weekly AR aging reports to the Senior Management team.
- Ensure all AR-related management reports are completed on time and in order.
- Keep a well-organized filing system and ensure proper audit trails for record-keeping.
- Facilitate intercompany AR account reconciliations and collections.
- Assist with data entry for AP, journal entries, and month-end tasks.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Controller.

**About You**:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A Diploma or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role or similar.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex accounts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with multi-currency AR and sales ledgers.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
- A passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with GP Dynamics or Navision is a plus.
- Familiarity with Incoterms is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work extra hours during month-end or year-end periods.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $42,002.18-$55,000.00 per year
