Job Overview:
We are looking to hire for two different types of positions

**Location**:
Brown Jr. Public School (Avenue Road and St. Clair)

1)Permanent Swimming instructor (Two positions available)
Thursdays: 3:30-5:00pm
You would be paid $70 per 1.5 hour shift

2)Swimming instructors to join our sub list for the winter session, with potential to have a permanent shift going forward

Sundays: 9:30-3:00 ($30.00-$35.00/hour)
Thursdays 3:30-5:00 ($70.00 per shift)

**Duties**:

- Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and floating
- Assess students' abilities and provide feedback for improvement
- Create lesson plans and develop appropriate activities for each class
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor is required (priority for applicants with 5+ years)
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of all ages and skill levels
- Patience and the ability to provide constructive feedback
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.5 per week
