Position Overview:
Reporting to the CVA Delivery Manager, the Customer Fleet Advisor is responsible to deliver the maintenance services to customers through monitoring asset hour usage and coordinating appointments to complete services within specific on-time delivery parameters.
The role is accountable to support the key responsibilities or major functions both within the control of the role (i.e., what they have the authority to do) and what the role is answerable for in terms of decisions, approvals, outcomes, commitments, results, deliverables, or recommendations. Ensuring all documented standard operating procedures are being adhered to and followed consistently with each job and in compliance of all service work orders with Finning’s Service Operations Process.
**Job Description**:
- Maintain customer relationships, responding to incoming inquiries in a timely and informative manner
- Proactively monitoring machine utilization to coordinate services in accordance with On Time Delivery metrics and customer machine availability
- Proactively ordering parts to ensure availability for scheduled and upcoming services
- Ensure scope of work completed is in compliance with the maintenance contract through accurate job review
- Updating completed services in tracking software
- Training and support of other team members as required
- Manage service work orders and job files in compliance with Service Operational Excellence process and procedures, including managing Service Work in Progress (SWIP), creating, maintaining and archiving service work orders and job files.
- Update monitoring data, PM Planning tool and other contract administration tasks
- Accountable for accurate and timely billing for internal and external jobs
- Support other team members with training and overflow work
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in customer service, Caterpillar dealership experience and/or experience in equipment, service, parts and/or warranty
- Post-secondary education in an administrative field considered an asset
- Infor M3 working knowledge of the service system considered an asset
- Understanding of service work in progress management (SWIP), Service Information Systems (SIS) and VisionLink considered an asset
- Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- This position is based out of our Edmonton office location
- Temporary 6 month position
- Hybrid position with opportunity to work from home
