We are seeking an **Ops Associate** to join our team in Burnaby, BC. We are offering full-time and/or part-time position to expand our team.

**Company**

Proxima Lighting Solution is a lighting specialist firm. Our team consists of electrical/control engineers, energy, and lighting specialists.

We are experts in interior lighting designs that use state-of-the-art sustainable lighting technologies by combining light and shade that affect mood and influence behavior in living or working environments. Our team’s capability is demonstrated throughout hundreds of challenging interior and exterior lighting projects from design to installation around the globe.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field. Sales / Inventory /accounting experience will be considered
- Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs, and to bend and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in speaking and writing in English is an asset
- Proficiency in inventory management software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suites is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with architectural & interior design process will be considered

**Responsibilities**:

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
- Maintain and update customer databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and backroom area
- Participate in inventory management and stock replenishment activities
- Manage various operational processes, including supply chain management, vendor management, and customer service
- Provide administrative & marketing support as needed
