The Unit Clerk is responsible and accountable for a wide variety of clerical duties in support of care and services to promote the overall well being of our residents. The Unit Clerk performs a range of clerical duties to update and organize information on the units and is responsible for efficient information flow and availability of information. The Unit Clerk also promotes positive experiences with residents, family members and guests, organizes work within the unit and interacts with other departments to ensure seamless resident care.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year related experience

Previous experience working in healthcare environment preferred

General knowledge of office practices, processes, and procedures

Computer proficiency

Attention to detail

Strong sense of responsibility

Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good problem solving skills
