**Role**:
Allteck is currently seeking a Lane Closure Technician (LCT) who will be supporting our Lower Mainland projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the safe and courteous movement of vehicles and personnel
- Setting-up traffic control zones
- Controlling traffic in construction zones
- Adjusting work zone equipment
- Responding to emergency situations and hazards
- Knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management Plans and the Traffic Control Manual for Work on Roadways as developed by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
- Knowledge of the requirements of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations related to traffic control
- Working and coordinating with other Traffic Control Persons (TCP's) onsite

**Education, Training & Experience**:

- Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person Ticket
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence in Good Standing
- One-year previous experience as a Lane Closure Technician (LCT)
- A reliable personal vehicle to travel to various job sites is required

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to set up lanes that flow and provide safety to customers and team members
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure while remaining professional
- Construction experience is an asset
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A safety conscious demeanor and willingness to adhere to company safety policies, practices, and procedures

Must join the IBEW Local 258 Union

Rate $25.00 - $33.00 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
