Position: Geophysical and geotechnical technician

We are looking for an experienced, autonomous, and motivated person able to realize on-site surveys in the fields of geophysics, vibrations, and geotechnical instrumentation.

Main Tasks, but not limited to:

- Acquisition of geophysical data on the field
- Geotechnical instrumentation on site and monitoring of the data’s acquisition
- Planning and preparation of operations
- Data treatment and drafting of various documents and reports
- Worksite’s surveillance
- Participation to the maintenance of equipment to insure their reliability
- Assistance of the project manager in his daily tasks
- Ratio: 80% field - 20% office
- Mobility required (Possibility to work elsewhere in the province of Ontario)

Requirements and Qualifications:

- DVS/AVS or any other technical professional formation **in geophysics, geological or civil engineering**, or another relevant field;
- Good knowledge of geotechnical and geophysical equipment (including vibrations monitoring, land surveying, seismic, etc.);
- Proficiency in the Office 365 suite of software;
- Technical skills on the operation of the equipment;
- Functional level of spoken and written English, French is an asset;
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit as well as autonomous;
- Self-taught, easy to learn;
- Ability to analyze and solve problems;
- Able to travel to different project sites throughout the province, but mainly in the Greater Toronto area;
- Experience in field work and/or consulting/construction engineering (Asset);
- Safety formations (Asset);
- Possess a driver's license.

**Job Type**: Full time, permanent, 37,5 hours per week.
