Pizza Cook

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed dur ing meal preparation and cooking.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with pizza preparation experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food handling and preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service through quality meal preparation.

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Pizza cook: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
