**DESCRIPTION**:
Rocket Doctor’s Pediatric Physician Lead will be responsible for leading recruiting, onboarding and supporting pediatricians on the platform. They will join the MD Advisor (MDA) team to help guide Rocket Doctors growth. The Physician Lead will collaborate to assist new physicians within Rocket Doctor, across all provinces, and help to grow and optimize the medical side of the company through strategic planning.
- The primary objective of the physician lead is to help develop Rocket Doctor’s brand in all provinces,
- Other responsibilities include:

- Lead recruitment and onboarding of pediatricians within Canada,
- Assisting in onboard new physicians and familiarize them with the Rocket Doctor platform,
- Helping develop and continually improve our physician handbook
- Assist in the development and implementation of Pediatric Rapid Access clinics,
- Assisting in the development of communications in support of physicians and RD staff,
- Act as a resource to physicians on the RD platform, regarding billing practices and protocols, for both insured and non-insured services
- Developing a network to better serve act risk and underserved populations,
- Support the Patient Care Coordinators (PCC) team in ensuring adequate clinical coverage for the platform,
- Troubleshooting and planning around emerging physician roadblocks and challenges
- Engaging with the physician advisory team and the product development team for improvement initiatives

- Maintain a high standard of professionalism as established by your Province’s respective college
- Inform Rocket Doctor if you have any formal outstanding complaints which affect your clinical practice,
- Inform Rocket Doctor of any physical, mental or health limitations which affect your clinical practice,
- Knowledge of our EMR, Rocket Doctor’s extensions as well as privacy requirements in the Canada/USA (HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) would be a benefit,
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all RD staff and patient correspondence
- Ability to work with confidential company information

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Licensed to practice medicine in Canada,
- Fluency in French and English would be an advantage,
- Experience in business is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environments,
- Experience in Medical Administration would be an advantage.

**WORK / TRAVEL**:

- Position is remote in Canada. Must be able to adequately perform the above duties with reasonable accommodation. Requirements may be adjusted quarterly.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- The position is estimated to be an average of 4 hours per week and will be compensated according to current Rocket Doctor policy.
