**About the Role**

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Finishing Operator I** to join our Northern team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring precision and quality in the finishing process, working with advanced machining equipment and contributing to our reputation for excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate **lathe machining centers** to process steel components with precision.
  • Set up and maintain machinery, ensuring consistent production quality.
  • Utilize tools such as **micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers**, and blueprints to inspect and verify product quality.
  • Manage and run multiple machine centers efficiently, adhering to production schedules.
  • Safely operate hoists and slings for material handling.
  • Utilize computer software to monitor and adjust production processes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to maintain high-quality standards and meet customer expectations.

**What You’ll Need**

  • **Experience with lathe machining centers is preferred**.
  • Strong understanding of **machine setup** and **tolerancing (Dia, TIR, taper)**.
  • Proficiency in using **precision tools** (micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers).
  • Ability to **read blueprints** and interpret **GD&T specifications**.
  • Experience with **multiple machine centers** and related computer software.
  • Familiarity with **hoists and slings** for safe material handling.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
