**Ideal Siding **is looking for **Building Envelope Consultant** to join our team.

**What The Role Is All About**:

- Assist Project Managers with solutions and answer questions in internal chats related to building science in residential sector
- Review and update company's best practices and specifications
- Help with calculations and reviewing architectural drawings
- Coordinate with Project Managers and attend site meetings if needed
- Conduct field reviews and issuing field review report (occasionally)
- Consult on material updates and local building code recommendations (for multiple locations)

**What Are The Qualifications**:

- Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple priorities. You have a solid work ethic with a commitment to excellence
- Preferably 2 years of work experience in building science and building envelope consulting
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate vague or complex requests into concrete actions
- Superb attention to detail and accuracy
- Great team player and self-starter attitude
- Ability to think outside of the box and understand the big picture
- Passion, enthusiasm, integrity and a positive attitude

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- building science consulting: 2 years (preferred)
