Junior Estimator

**Jr Estimator - Manufacturing / Machining Environment (not construction)**

**This is a permanent, full time position, working 40hrs per week.**

**Responsibilities and Duties Include**:

- Prepare estimates of labour and material requirements
- Prepare routing instructions for new product and update processes for existing product
- Assist with final quote submittals and documents.
- Review customer supplied blueprints and specifications to establish scope of work
- Source products and services as needed from approved supplier list
- Issuing PO's related to OS vendors
- Gathering feedback on estimates submitted
- Assisting in vendor development and processing po's for vendors
- Must have good communication and good math skills
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must
- Other task as needed
- **Rate is negotiable based on ability.**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism when communicating with suppliers and customers
- Strong math skills, with an attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machining or welding a bonus
- Ability to work under pressure, continually adapt to change, and work within critical timelines
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with mínimal supervision
- Strong Organizational and Time Management
