**Position**: Test Engineer Technologist
**Reports to**: Test Engineer
Position Summary
Reporting to the Test Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for daily support of production test activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- On-going daily support for electronics assembly test systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and debug devices under test.
- Review test yields and perform failure analysis.
- Refine test software and hardware for enhancing test yields.
- Monitor product test traceability through Manufacturing Execution System.
- Review and analyze test system downtime and escalate when required.
- Assist in tester development for New Product Introductions including assembly and commissioning of test solution.
Qualifications and Experience
- A recent graduate of Post-Secondary Electrical or Electronics Engineering (co-op) based programs.
- Experience with National Instruments LabView and C# programming.
- Must be organized with an excellent communication acumen to navigate tasks and projects on time and with successful deployments of test approaches.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs test fixtures / magazines.
