**GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE**
We are looking for a team player committed to maintaining NVRC’s facilities in order to provide excellent experiences for our customers. You will perform operational and building service work on an assigned shift in a recreation facility. You will operate refrigeration, ice-making and resurfacing equipment; and swimming pool chlorination and filtration equipment. This includes ice resurfacer operation, a variety of minor maintenance repair tasks and routine janitorial duties.

**ABOUT YOU**
You are courteous and effective with customers. You have working knowledge of the materials, methods and equipment used in building maintenance and janitorial work; the ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled building maintenance and minor repair tasks, and to perform routine janitorial duties; the ability to work under mínimal supervision, to ensure that janitorial tasks are completed; the ability to prepare and maintain a variety of records related to the work; and skill in the use and care of equipment used in the work.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
You have completed Grade 10, supplemented by technical training related to the work plus related experience or have an equivalent combination of training and experience.

A valid class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence and a B.C. Refrigeration Operator Certificate are required. Pool Operator 1 & 2 certification or equivalent is an asset.

This is a regular full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week including weekends, days or evenings based on operational needs. The pay range for this unionized position is $25.78 to $30.25 per hour.

All employees should be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location and are required to submit a Police Record Check as a requirement of the position prior to any appointment.
