I
Innovative Access is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Installer to join our high-rise equipment installation team in the Ottawa - Gatineau region. The installer will collaborate with our design and project management team to redefine Ottawa-Gatineau’s skyline. Our team specializes in the design, fabrication, installation and testing of high-rise access equipment for window cleaning, building maintenance, and fall protection systems.

You will be an important part of the team from the beginning of a project all the way through fabrication and construction of our high-rise maintenance equipment. If you are up for a challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you.

**Your Role**:

- Lead the installation of window cleaning and fall protection equipment. This includes but is not limited to roof anchors, davit bases, horizontal lifeline systems, etc.
- Perform equipment load testing and commissioning of on-site.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials prior to site work.
- Organize equipment and inventory.
- Prepare mock-ups prior to installation.
- Development of new equipment concepts and in-house testing of prototypes.
- Deliver equipment on site / pickup from suppliers in company truck.

**Abilities**:

- Work physically and lift heavy items at times.
- Climb ladders and flights of stairs as required.
- Working with hand tools and powered tools.
- Enthusiastic and positive mindset.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid working at heights training will be considered an asset.
- Valid government security clearance will be considered an asset.
- Valid drivers G licence.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
- Experience installing / using fall protection equipment is considered an asset.

**Hourly Rate: $28.50-$39.00**
