About Us:
Join our team at Flooring Liquidators Ottawa, conveniently located at 1260 Old Innis Road near the highway and public transit. Since opening in 2015, we have been dedicated to meeting the diverse flooring needs of clients throughout Ottawa.

Compensation:

- Hourly Rate: $20, plus commission
- Commission potential: based on sales performance additional to hourly rate. Commission starts 3 weeks after training.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Part
- Time Sales associate with experience in sales, administrative tasks, and operational management able to work in a busy environment. This position requires a strong sales background and the ability to ensure smooth daily operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Long - term
- Minimum of 5 years in sales
- Minimum of 5 years in customer service
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Proficiency in administrative duties and customer service
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to challenges
- Strong customer service orientation
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently, including managing the store alone when necessary
- Professional appearance required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, POS systems, Gmail, and social media platforms for advertising.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with product suggestions and recommendations
- Educate customers about our products and facilitate sales
- Manage orders, handle phone inquiries, and respond to customer requests
- Open and close the showroom
- Perform administrative tasks including filing paperwork, booking installations, and following up on inquiries
- Schedule installations and perform weekly cleaning duties

**Training**:

- Commission begins after three weeks training period.
- Please bring a resume.
- Dress code: Business casual.

3 -4 days a week Thursday / Friday (mandatory) Saturday/ Monday (optional)

**this is not an entry level sales job, please have experience.
