**Library Technician - St. Elizabeth Ann Seton**

**C.U.P.E. 2357 (10 month, Level 5)**

**Part-time 0.50 FTE position**

- **Operates the school Learning Commons and provides services in an automated/digital environment to meet the needs of staff and students**
- **Promotes authors, books, literacy, technology and holds special events**
- **Performs administrative functions associated with the Learning Commons and/or school**
- **Coordinates volunteers’ activities**
- **Performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor**

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Degree/diploma in relevant field (i.e. Library Technician, Information Science, etc)**
- **2 years of related experience**
- **Expertise with Insignia (or similar library software systems), Google Suite, computer hardware and software, mobile technology, various AV equipment**
- **Comfortable learning and promoting new technologies (3D printing, robotics, coding, cricut, etc.)**
- **Positive team player and ability to work independently as well**
- **Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills**
- **Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered**

**This is a permanent 10 month position. The annual full time salary range is $49,117 - $52,809 which will be prorated as applicable to reflect a part-time 0.50 FTE position. An employee benefits and pension package is also provided.**
