**Who are we?**

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC stone cutting machines (routers, tooling, etc.) to cut slabs according to design specifications.
- Read and interpret CAD files, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Load and secure stone slabs safely onto the cutting table using cranes.
- Verify dimensions, quality, and finish of cut pieces against job requirements.
- Maintain proper tool selection, calibration, and machine maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot basic CNC or mechanical issues and communicate larger issues to maintenance or management.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with fabricators, programmers, and installers to ensure production efficiency and accuracy.

**Qualifications**

**Required**:

- 2+ years of experience operating CNC equipment in a stone, metal, or woodworking environment.
- Strong understanding of stone types, properties, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and digital job files (DXF, DWG, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to precision, quality, and safety.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with software such as Alphacam, AutoCAD, or similar CAM programs.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and tool path optimization.
- Forklift or overhead crane certification, preferred.
- Experience in countertop or stone fabrication shop environment, preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
