**Job Description**:
Night shift : Monday to Friday 4PM to 2AM /// Competitive Salary

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor must manage all aspects of the plant for their shift, including production, scheduling activities, training, and employees. Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations while ensuring that all safety procedures are followed and all production targets are met.

The Supervisor must be able to learn the various production machines and be able to operate them in support of the operators. The individual will need to demonstrate mechanical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

**Production**:

- Effectively manage the operations of a multi-shift production facility with multiple machines (wetline, demold, packline)
- Optimize efficiency, productivity and equipment performance to achieve objectives.
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and identify potential problems.
- Ensure compliance with operating standards and procedures (S.O.P.).
- Analyze data from production reports in order to identify possible improvements, reduce losses and the number of breakdowns as well as improve efficiency.
- Ensure product quality standards are met through inspections and material testing procedures.
- Oversee production planning, staffing and day-to-day manufacturing operations in a cost-effective manner, accurately track and record key performance indicators, troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

**Supervision**:

- Act as a leader in terms of continuous improvement and change management.
- Motivate employees, be a positive source of influence, and lead by example;
- Encourage autonomous work by empowering employees to ensure succession planning.
- Helps in maintaining and mobilizing staff by orienting, and training employees; develop personnel growth opportunities by coaching/ mentoring employees verbally and written documentation.
- Professionally resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending ethical plan of action.
- Be a model in terms of health and safety and reinforce safe behavior in factories;
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of work experience as a supervisor/leader in a production/manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma required - a bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline is preferred.
- Excellent proven leadership and change management skills.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to develop and maintain excellent business relationships both internally and externally.
- Mechanically inclined and problem solving skills are a must
- Strong planning, organizational, project management and problem solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills: you maintain your composure under pressure and during unexpected problems;
- Time-oriented: a professional who knows how much time to devote to each task and how to meet deadlines;
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems.
