**Summary**:
Lavis Contracting specializes and in road and highway construction and underground sewer and watermain for MTO, municipal and private sector. Lavis provides a wide range of Paving and Construction services for all types of clients, consistently delivering projects efficiently and cost-effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory testing compliance with prevailing standards and procedures. Test asphalt and gravel.
- Examine samples provided and write/advise of any discrepancy on test and field reports.
- Assist with Quality Control Testing when needed.
- Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated.
- Participate in activities related to the quality system.

**Requirements**:

- Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30kg.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
- G License and Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Computer and Microsoft Skills.
- Team player with a focus on safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months
