Tree Climber

**Job Summary**
The Tree Removal Company is seeking an experienced, safety conscious tree climber to join our team. ISA or 444a Arborist certification is an asset, but not a requirement. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team oriented attitude is a must. Regular work hours range from 40-55 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

**Duties**
- Perform current and up to date tree climbing techniques including, but not limited to: Rope climbing - SRS and MRS, spur climbing, crane removals.
- Perform technical rigging and removals, cabling and bracing, tree pruning and tree felling.
- Employees of The Tree Removal Company are expected to participate in regular equipment maintenance.
- Operation of tree care equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, skid steers, excavators, firewood processors, wood mills.
- Ability to drive pickup, and dump trucks with an aptitude for towing and backing up trailers.
- Help maintain a clean work space including company vehicles and shops.
- Assist periodically with special projects as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of two years climbing experience.
- Familiarity with spider lift arial lift, and crane equipment
- Knowledge of tree health care and proper pruning techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Team oriented mindset.
- Valid G class drivers license required, AR licence an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and clients.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 7-8 months

Pay: $25.00-$37.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
