**Maintenance Worker**

Mastrangelo Fuels is hiring a Full-time Maintenance Worker to join our growing Northwestern Ontario team. The Maintenance Worker will be based out to our Thunder Bay office. Their main role will be to support the company’s operations to ensure all sites & cardlocks are properly maintained, operate safely, and help minimize service interruptions.

**Maintenance Worker Qualifications and Skills**: Maintenance worker will be responsible to ensure 4 sites/cardlocks, and other company assets in the Thunder Bay and Dryden region to are always maintained and meet company standards.
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting.
- Ensures all proper documentation and checklist and sign offs are done daily.
- Collaborates and communicates with other workers, managers, and contractors to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist with tracking, stocking, ordering and billing out parts.
- Prior general maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
- Some basic electrical knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with fuel dispensers and pumps is preferred, but not required.
- Valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record required (DZ preferred but not necessary)
- Good interpersonal skills to work in a team atmosphere - qualified applicant must be team player
- Strong ability to record, track, and maintain maintenance records
- General computer skills
- Ability to adjust priorities according to operations

**Maintenance Worker Job Responsibilities**:

- Inspects the building, sites, and site dispensing equipment daily to ensure safe operation and cleanliness.
- Maintain sites cleanliness and appearance, disposes of any waste/snow, mow grass, painting, minor building maintenance, and complete checklists etc.
- Handles or coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance for sites and dispensers.
- Assist with coordinating load/unload and transfer of loaned tank packages to customer sites.
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Keeps a maintenance log and completes shift reports.
- Investigates, diagnoses, and reports any site or maintenance issues to management.
- Deals with site/dispenser issues and responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
- Loads, unloads, and track equipment and tools into work vehicles.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the management.
- Collaborates site and dispenser maintenance with contractors as needed.
- Reads and follows manuals, and other written instructions.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, etc.

**[Work Hours and Benefits]**
- Regular work hours for this position are 7 AM - 5 PM Monday to Friday + any after hours or weekend call outs as required.
- Travel within region would be required as needed. Company truck will be provided for any required travel.
