- The warehouse clerk's daily routine_- Keep the warehouse tidy and ensure that merchandise is placed in the right place; ensure productivity and safety in the warehouse and in the yard;- Ensure orders are filled accurately and on time;- Unload trucks and check for missing or damaged merchandise;- Receive and check shipments and place merchandise in stock;- Identify customers' back orders and inform them of their arrival;- Pick and pack merchandise and ship orders.- Maintain attractive merchandise displays;- Provide counter sales support as needed by greeting customers, preparing orders, merchandising and other assigned tasks.
- Warehouse clerk profile_- Experience in a similar position is an asset;- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills;- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines;- Team spirit, adaptability, energy and positive professional attitude;- Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the warehouse;- Good computer skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook- Must be able to handle items weighing less than 30lbs ;- A valid certificate for forklift driving is an asset; otherwise training will be provided.
