**Interested?**
We’re looking for an Indigenous Summer Student to join our Moose Jaw Maintenance department. Working with and under the supervision of the Maintenance team, you will be assisting with various maintenance tasks at the Moose Jaw Refinery, as well as providing documentation support for the maintenance department staff.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Ensures personal safety and follows safe operating procedures for facility.
- Maintains current safety training and certification.
- Is familiar with and follows all Gibson’s EH&S manuals and policies.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards.
- Demonstrates competency and follows maintenance procedures.
- Completes general upkeep, routine, and regularly scheduled maintenance of facilities.
- Perform groundskeeping maintenance duties; mow lawn and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Landscape by planting flowers and grass.
- Maintain sprinkler system.
- Perform clean up duties in all plant areas.
- WHMIS Program - assist with the update WHMIS Binders and SDS.
- Perform miscellaneous painting onsite (bollards, pipe supports, tripping hazards).
- Performs routine building maintenance.
- Reports problems to Supervisor.
- Most of the work is performed in an outdoor environment. Employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the Company’s safety policies and as required for weather conditions.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

**What You'll Bring**
- Enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Familiar with the proper use of tools and equipment used in groundskeeping maintenance.
- Must be familiar with the operation, location and requirements of safety equipment.
- Strong work ethic and responsible for the work performed.
- Strong MS Excel and Word skills.
- Work well independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Willing to work in and contribute to a team environment.
