Junior Day Camp Counsellor

The City of Côte Saint-Luc is a dynamic municipality on the island of Montreal with a population of approximately 33 000. The City prides itself on providing the highest level of services to its residents at a reasonable cost. We are currently looking to hire a Junior day camp instructor for the Recreation and leisure Department.
**Role**:
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- June to August
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assists in the planning, participation and supervision of day camp activities for a group of young people, applies the department's rules and presents a positive image to the public.
- Reports to designed Park Leader or Coordinator
- Must participate in activities with young children
- Ensures on the safety of the group and on activities that the group will do outside the scheduled activity periods.
- Assists in the development of safe and stimulating activities
- Ensures the hygiene of the little ones
- Ensures that everyone has the chance to get involvedMust attend the pre-season training session**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**
- Bilingual
- Holds a Secondary V diploma or in process of obtaining one
