We’re looking for a reliable, diligent and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team and support our growing operations.
**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in efficient handling, processing, and organization of inventory. This hands-on position involves operating a forklift, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to ensure all warehouse functions are executed safely and effectively, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to meet delivery timelines.
- Verify shipment contents against documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Use the warehouse management system for inventory tracking, bin stock updates, and pallet rack storage.
- Participate in routine inventory counts and audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures for equipment.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Assist in managing warehouse supplies and maintaining accurate location charts.
**Qualifications**:
- Recent experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in operating a forklift (a valid forklift certificate is preferred)
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to quickly learn new warehouse software systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
