Cafe Bakery Manager

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and lead café staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving of menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Oversee cash handling processes and maintain accurate financial records using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
- Train staff on customer service best practices, food preparation techniques, and café policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote café offerings within the hotel or establishment.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is essential.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with strong supervisory skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations related to food handling.
- Previous experience in a café or barista role is advantageous but not required.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
