**Responsibilities**
- Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting;
- Operate self erect crane to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials;
- Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes;
- Understand how to allocate and attach pulleys, cables, braces, booms, chains and hooks to lifting machinery;
- This job has a requirement to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, working with heights and moving materials;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Site clean up, labour, driving telehandler for deliveries, basic carpentry are some examples.
- Performing a range of construction related tasks as assigned;
- Operating machinery on site;
- Assisting in labour activities, providing guidance to general labourers on site and ensuring quality control;
- Assisting with materials management and distribution;
- Assisting subtrades when needed and as required.

**Qualifications**
- The following tickets are an asset:

- SETC A ticket
- SETC B ticket
- TC-A ticket
- TC-B ticket
- 5-7 years of experience as ticketed crane operator Level A self-erect or B
- Rigging ticket is an asset;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
- Must be able to work in team effort environment and display professionalism at all times;
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision;
- You must be able to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials;
- Previous experience working with multi-family framing and concrete is an asset;
- Valid First Aid certification is an asset, level 2 preferred;
- Must be able to get to and from site;
- A current tele-handler (zoom boom) ticket and fall protection certification are assets;
- Takes safety seriously and is mindful of surroundings;
- A positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team environment;
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Salary range is $37.00 to $47.00 per hour based on previous experience**.
