This is a night shift position that has a paid and competitive night shift premium. The shift is Monday to Thursday: 5:15 PM to 2:15 AM and Friday: 4:15 PM to 12:15 AM.

**Key position functions include**:

- Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
- Daily duties:

- Empty waste baskets and dispose of trash
- Dust and spot clean all furniture, including desks, chairs, tables, countertops, phones
- Clean entire desktops/countertops
- Clean and polish bright metals
- Clean and sanitize water coolers
- Spot clean reception glass including front doors and entrance
- Spot clean interior glass in partitions and doors
- Spot clean walls and doors, sanitize door handles and light switches
- Low dusting - all horizontal surfaces below shoulder height
- Check, change and refill as necessary all towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers
- Maintain washrooms
- Maintain floors - sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing
- Weekly duties:

- Sanitize telephones
- Vacuum offices
- Monthly duties:

- Wash all waste baskets (in rotation)
- High dusting - all horizontal surfaces above shoulder height
- Shop Floor - General
- Clean and polish water fountains
- Clean offices, change rooms, and lunch rooms as required
- When required assist with plant security (e.g. secure building: question strangers, lock doors, activate alarm, lock gates, power off equipment)
- Other
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or designate
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of related janitorial experience
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
