**Who We Are**: We are a non-profit organization centered in Nova Scotia that assists and advocates for persons with a disability. SSG strives to provide the supports necessary for members to live in the community, maintain personal choice and control, and enhance their quality of life.

**What We Are looking For**:
A caring, respectful individual who is
- Looking to develop strong relationships with the members they are supporting
- Looking to nurture the member’s confidence and independence to allow them to participate fully in our community
- Able to provide personal care and assist members with aspects of daily living such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, bathing, and grocery shopping
- Interested in planning leisure and recreational activities for members
- Flexible with working a variety of shifts such as morning, afternoon, overnight, & weekend shifts

**Requirements**:

- First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Weekend availability

**Salary**:

- Upon hire, salary will be $16.90/hr., if under 20 hours.
- Salary would be $18.57/hr.* if casual, $20.58/hr.* if part time, and $22.45/hr.* if full-time and trained, and all employees need to be fully trained (7 core competencies) in order to be considered part-time or full-time.

**Salary**: $16.90-$22.45 per hour
