Lids Canada is seeking out a District Manager in Training to support the Prairie district of Canada. If you have what it takes then we would love to hear from you

As a District Manager in Training for Lids you must be able to:

- Hire, lead and retain top talent throughout your assigned portfolio of stores
- Maximize Sales within your home store, as well as each store within your assigned district
- Lead the districts day to day operations to ensure smooth execution of established objectives.
- Monitor and manage schedules for your teams within your assigned stores.
- Act as a liaison between the head office and the your stores by making regular visits and interacting with management and staff
- Ensure that each location delivers value and excellence to our customers
- Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed Store Managers that will maintain profit margins and implement business plan
- Work together with business partners in order to minimize loss and monitor corporate policy and procedure.
- Perform other duties and assignments as called upon by the organization

Minimum Requirements and skills:

- Proven experience in a high level retail environment, 2-3 years preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a growth mentality
- Business development and strategy implementation knowledge
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Experience recruiting, developing and leading a team of successful retail professionals.
- Up to 30% travel required
