Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of the interdisciplinary Community Outreach and Support Team (COAST), the Assessor Coordinator provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a community mental health and addictions population.

**Human Resources Exemption**:No

**Education**
- Recognized degree/diploma in nursing; degree in social work; or a degree in addiction counselling

**Experience**
- One year (postgraduate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services

**Knowledge, Skill and Abilities**

**Other Information**
- Must have a current practicing registration with their professional association.
- Must have a valid driver’s license. Some assignments may require access to a vehicle for work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours; including an ability to work day, evening and weekend shifts based on operational needs.
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
