**Early Childhood Educator**

**Position**: Early Childhood Educator

**Location**: Friends For Life Early Learning: 5447 St. Margaret's Bay Road, Upper
Tantallon, N.S. B3Z 2H9
**Type of Employment**: Full-Time, Permanent

**Wage**: Negotiable depending on ECE level and experience in the f ield

**REQUIERMENTS**:

- ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 classification **OR,** if untrained, ECE orientation obtained within
first 6 months of employment.
- Clear Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Understands early childhood development and able to provide an enriching program and environment to enhance young children’s learning.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with center administration, co-workers, families and other participating members and partners.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

**Salary**: $14.00-$20.00 per hour
