OC Transport is an Alberta based transportation company that specializes in moving construction equipment. Most of the work is done locally in Calgary and the surrounding areas, but also to our neighbouring provinces.

We also have a Bulk Product division where we offer dump truck/ gravel truck services locally.

- **CLASS 1 JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**:_
- These are full time, year-round positions for Class 1 Drivers with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Drivers must have a clean abstract and a good understanding of the Trucking/ Freight Industry.
- Drivers are required to follow and obey the rules of the road.
- A solid understanding of operating various types of construction equipment.
- Ability to load and unload equipment is a must.
- Ensure proper cargo securement and proper weight distribution based on axle load limits.
- Keep trucks neat, tidy and free of clutter.
- Fill out BOL’s and submit pictures at the end of each day.
- These are Monday to Friday positions with a 44 hour work week including some weekly overtime. However, as we are in the service industry, many of these hours are dictated by our customers which can lead to potential overtime work.
- Benefits will be provided after the probationary period.
- **CLASS 3 JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**:_
- These are full time, year-round positions for Class 3 Drivers with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Drivers must have a clean abstract.
- Drivers are required to follow and obey the rules of the road.
- Fill out paperwork daily.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and other team members.
- Knowledge of the city and Calgary pits and landfills.
- Keep trucks neat, tidy and free of clutter.
- These are Monday to Friday positions with a 44 hour work week including some weekly overtime. However, as we are in the service industry, many of these hours are dictated by our customers which can lead to potential overtime work.
- Benefits will be provided after the probationary period.
- **REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS FOR OUR CLASS 1 & CLASS 3 DRIVERS**:_
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Must have a valid Class 1 or Class 3 license for a minimum of 3 years.
- Must be Safety minded.
- Must be Customer service oriented.
- Must be willing and able to work well within a team.
- Must have strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Equipment operation an asset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
