**As a Quality Control Technician, You Will**:

- Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
- Conducting Laboratory and Field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures
- Perform Field Quality Control Testing (Material Sampling, Compaction, Coring, Crossfall)
- Examine the sample provided and write/advise any discrepancy on test and field reports
- Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated
- Participate in activities related to the quality system
- Other Duties as required

**What You'll Bring**:

- Post-secondary education in a Civil Engineering or related technical field considered an asset
- Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality
- Good background of aggregate use in road building, concrete and asphalt production
- CCIL Type C and Type H certifications an asset
- Excellent communications skills
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Team player
- Computer and Microsoft Office skills
- G License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Available to work outdoors, weekends, and nights
